During my internship at leading serious game studio &Ranj, i had the honor of working on a very impactful game: The Hartstichting Crash Course. In this experience, you learn about the symptoms of a heart attack, stroke and cardiac arrest, so you know when to call for help.
The result? Over 500.000 people now know the symptoms and what to do when someone experiences a heart attack, cardiac arrest or stroke. It was a really fulfilling project with a large social impact.

I was responsible for building the logic behind the game — making sure all the different scenarios were connected properly and that the information shown to players was always correct. I did this using &Ranj’s internal game engine, which meant working within their custom tools and setup.
During the project, I worked closely with visual designers, game designers, developers, and the client. Together, we made sure the game stayed clear, consistent, and fun to play, with everything fitting together the way it should.
